Ellinor Forster, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor at the Department of History and European Ethnology at the University of Innsbruck. In 2015 she was Visiting Fellow for Humanities at the Silesian University in Opava (Czech Republic), in 2016/2017 Scholar at the Austrian Historical Institute in Rome, and in 2017/18 Senior Lecturer at the Department of Modern and Contemporary History at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz. She has published on spatial concepts, cultural history of politics and administration, legal and gender history, from the eighteenth to twentieth centuries.
