I am a tenured senior scientist at the Institute of Technology Assessment (ITA), Austrian Academy of Sciences and, currently, an Associate Fellow at the Digital Curation Institute, University of Toronto (2021/22). My field of research is science and technology studies and I have a background in political science (PhD University of Vienna), Governance in Europe (Post-graduate at Vienna Institute for Advanced Studies) and economics (MA WU Wien). I teach in different university curricula, post-graduate and MBA programs at the University of Vienna, TU Vienna and the Johannes Kepler University Linz. In 2020, I received the Käthe Leichter Award and several publication awards prior to that. Research stays abroad include Paderborn University (2021), Vassar College, New York (2019), UC Berkeley (2013) and Lancaster University, UK (2011).
