Project: Thermodynamic Modeling for Stacking Fault Energy in Metals
The ThermoStac project aims at providing a predictive model for the determimation of Stacking Fault Energy (SFE) for metallic systems. Stacking Fault is one of the most prominent default in metal and influence mechanical properties. So far, the given model based on thermodynamic modeling fail due to several misconsideration. Within the present project it is thus plan to provide a consistent predictive model for the SFE based on thermodynamic modeling with unique chance to obtain reliable data for technological and relevant alloys. This project subscribe in the sustainable alloy development.
