Born in Mexico City, Mexico. Studied Physics at the Unievrsidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí. Came to Linz, Austria in 2005 for a PhD in technical physics. Spent two years in Berlin working at the synchroton Bessy, before returning to Linz, where I obtained an Elise-Richter fellowship in 2016. Habilitated in November 2021. Since August 2021, I work for the research service of the Medical Faculty of the Johannes Kepler University Linz.
