The Netzwerk Unterbau Wissenschaft invites everyone interested to a discussion event on April 3 at 6:30 PM at the FAKtory. Julia Partheymüller will present the results of our Austria-wide NUWiss study , which included participation from over 2,000 mid-level academic staff at Austrian universities. The study highlights the dire situation of mid-level faculty in Austria and the widespread negative consequences of the amendment to §109 of the University Act (UG) (2021), backed by strong empirical data.
Following the presentation, there will be a panel discussion to address the root causes of the situation and explore possible solutions. The panel will include perspectives from those affected, as well as from employee and employer representatives.
