Therese Garstenauer wins Edith Saurer Prize

The Edith Saurer Fund awards research fellowships to outstanding domestic and foreign scholars who have completed their doctorates and are specifically concerned with questions of social inequality from the historical perspective of gender, class and culture. Special consideration is given to projects that deal with Europe from the early modern period to the 20th century and pursue comparative and transnational approaches. Elise Richter Fellow Therese Garstenauer will be awared in May for her project: Lebensführung von österreichischen Staatsbediensteten (1918 – 1940) ( Conduct of life of Austrian civil servants 1918 – 1940).
